Hire and terminate employment
The company I work for uses a background check company(Krol). We are very short on workers and my manager just hired a guy who was told he 'passed' the background. He signed his letter of hire. He came in and was told the background check company(Krol) said that he needed to verify that he was working with paystubs/t4. He did quit his old job to come to this one. Now he is scrambling to find his stubs/t4s. Why would they make him sign something if he didnt pass? Yet they said he did? They called references and those passed. I dont get it!
Any advice?
