Well eff. Certainly not the end of the road, but a point sure would have been nice. Splitting the matches with Panama isn't anything to be too upset about, but the earlier draw to Honduras at home is definitely a case of two points lost instead of one point gained. That might come back and bite Canada in the ass more than the loss to Panama.
Still, they largely control their own destiny. Make amends and beat Honduras away (no small task), and don't screw up against Cuba. But there's no margin for error anymore.
