Actually it can/should be. If we focused on developing players that would allow us to form a team that was skilled enough to deal with this kind of opposition on the pitch it would make the antics irrelevant. Also, the children bit is important because that is where the process starts.
Personally, I knew early skill development was important but actually seeing what young children pick up off the pitch has been eye-opening.

And we're failing them by not allowing them to win solely based on their footballing skill. Having to resort to silly antics is unacceptable considering the resources we have available and the bottom line is we shouldn't have to be resorting to them.
