I know all about the process and I know several guys who have came here through fraudulient marriages. One guy I know actually is about to be deported back, and the Canadian girl he paid to bring him here is going to be charged any day here. There are actually dedicated photographers in Lebanon that will rent you out wedding dresses to take the wedding pictures the government requests.
And I also know a tonne of legitimate people that are happily married to someone they brought over from overseas. It really puts the government in a hard spot trying to figure out the fakes from the real.
