This happened to an older Sharp LCD TV of my parents a few years ago. I called their tech support and got them to send me new firmware on a USB key. As long as your issue isn't hardware related, the cost of fixing it shouldn't be bad. You could also get the name of an authorized repair centre in the city for your TV brand, take it in there to fix.

HDCP is lame.
