The settlements certainly suck, but from the Israeli perspective, if there is no other person to negotiate with, then Israel will continue developing their country.
The West Bank was captured by Israel from Jordan during the six day war, so why isn't Jordan disputing this? They have a peace treaty, a peace treaty signed while Israel still claimed the West Bank. Jordan basically left that area to Israel. Had the people living in the West Bank simply enjoyed the freedom and prosperity associated with living within Israel, they would be much better off and at the same time disliked by the rest of the arab world. Iran and other regimes wouldn't put up with that, so terrorism stepped in.
You see, Israel is not perfect, they are doing the best they can in a very problematic region, but according to you they are the devil in the region.

Yes. I hate Israel.

(Please note, the rolling eyes smilie denotes sarcasm)
I never said they were the devil. Who are you? Ezra Levant? Save your sensationalist garbage. I was merely pointing out that Israel isn't perfect. But because it is backed by the United States and the rest of the West, it gets a free pass for behaviors that aren't that dissimilar from so called rogue states.
I also take offense to being told that I enjoy terrorism. In fact the case is quite the opposite, hence why I am willing to say things about Israel's actions with the International System that you have taken issue with.
Oh and if you actually read my post again, I never called Israel a terrorist state. I said some have made I case for that. But I wasn't sure I would go that far.
