I would imagine the average Palestinian is treated much worse by Hamas militants than by Israelis, yet when you include a lifetime of propaganda aimed at training people to hate Israelis then of course, Israelis are terrible people. As long as Israel is nervous of terrorists, the strip will certainly be treated under some form of heightened Israeli security. This is a win win for Hamas, the longer the people live in this state, the more they hate Israel.
These are the issues that prevent peace from happening, and even worse, people like you continue to demonize Israel rather than actually trying to help.
If the people threw out Hamas, then perhaps there would have been peace already. Don't forget, Israeli willfully left the Gaza strip in the hopes of advancing peace, instead the PA was kicked out by Hamas.
