Western ideals often get put on a pedestal. They're really not. They're flawed in themselves. It shouldn't give any state Carte Blanche to do whatever they want in the name of liberal democracy.

Sure you can make a good arguement that western ideals aren't the end all and be all, I'm saying that they are part of our western family and so are an ally. An ally I'm not that fond of but when push comes to shove, that's how it goes.
