I would suggest this is much more likely to be seen as support for Israel more than anything the US wants from Canada.
A major conflict has been brewing for a while between Iran and Israel and it looks like something might erupt...I see Israel going for a pre emptive strike if diplomacy doesnt get something settled soon.
Not a very pretty scenario any which way you look at it though.
