I guess that's part of the problem, but it's still a hard sell that it's a "required" surgery for this person. I have no problem with the surgery or folks who want to get it, I am just not certain of the "need" for it. Reading through this thread, that's the common issue. Those who are against it (aside from the murderer part) aren't convinced that it's
medically necessary. I have to admit that I am mostly of the same mind, though I also admit that I'm not sure what would convince me that such a surgery IS medically necessary.
