I wasn't a huge fan of NWN, but BG 1&2 were amazing. If you have not played Throne of Baal expansion for #2, it is definately worth it.
You can finally use some of those spells you've always wanted too w/o scrolls.

I've got Jade Empire but have only played it sparingly so far but, of course, I enjoyed the short amount of playing time I had. Have to find more time to play it. Having 3 kids sure gets in the way of a good time
(Nah, it's just a different good time is all.)
NWN grew on me. I didn't play it for ages after initially trying it but then gave it another shot and enjoyed it immensely.
Yeah, I did play the expansion for BG2. Excellent.
I'm definitely finding the time to play Oblivion though!!!!!
