The new goggles also do nothing.

My Dell 20" has composite and SVideo inputs so hooking it up to a satellite receiver is simple. If the monitor only has DVI and VGA then it is probably more difficult.

Today they have the 20" on for $499 and the 24" for $849

Between the 1905P and 1907P the 1907P has a much lower response time which is important if you play games or watch movies on it. Though I don't really like these super fast ones now because they are mostly 6 bit panels rather than 8 bit panels (ie they display far fewer colours). The 20" Dell is an 8 bit panel with a 12ms response and I have no problems with games on it (and I've returned LCD monitors in the past because I couldn't play games on them). The panel in the 20" Dell is the same as the one in the 20" Apple Cinema.

My only other advice would be whatever you get, get it from somewhere where you can return it! That way if you don't like it you aren't stuck with something you don't like.
