Rental Scam in the SE/NE
Just so people are careful...my dad owns some rental property in Forest Lawn and two girls rented out a basement. A month after renting they got kicked out for various reasons, but it turns out they ended up re-renting the basement as if it was their own and screwed over some poor single lady with a child out of $1600.
Cops told him that the girls fit the description of other suspects in different cases in the NE/SE. I hope to god they catch these low-life scumbags.
So if anyone has rental propery or is renting out their house and 2 girls recently moved in, one a little obese, be careful.
