I met a travel writer at a Notting Hill Carnival barbeque last weekend (before the rum punch biltzed my memory). He had just come back from reviewing a 5* resort and spa in Switzerland, he's the world's foremost travel guide writer on Azerbaijan, he's got trips planned to watch bears on the Finnish/Russian border and somewhere else I forget (blame the rum punch). Anyway, it pretty much sounded like the job I've always dreamed of. The downside? He says he can barely afford to feed himself at the end of each month. It also sounds like there's a lot of actual research (i.e. boring library time, calling hotels, etc) involved. He said travel photography is the best because once you get back home your work is pretty much already done.

So I will say travel photographer.
