I was doing a lab on motors and generators and stuff, and my lab partner didn't shut off the power source as I was just about to disconnect the connections to the motor. The current that we were driving the rotor, which I would have become part of the circuit was... 25 Amps.
To give you an idea of the magnitude of it, 0.1 Amps will kill someone. I'm pretty sure over 10 Amps would evaporate you.
... and I don't know why I find it kind of funny.
