Wow. What a play at the plate. Even if the Jays do not win from here on in until the end of the season, this play have more than compensate for the sad season (ok, maybe not lose all games...). That play was sweeter than a Taber corn. Tying run on second, Pena hits to mid shallow RF, Sierra gets a one hopper, the runner is coming in to home plate, Sierra whips a laser to Mathis. A one hopper caught by the catcher turns his body to the sliding runner. Bang, tags him out while the helmets of both players goes flying and the face of the runner hits dirt and he comes out bloodied while Mathis gets the ball and shows it to the ump with an "Oh Yeah, baby!" Game over. Jays win.
