The fact of the matter is that AACP (Alberta Accosiation of chiefs of police) don't see a need for the college. The major police services in the province already have training programs in place for its officers. Had a provincial police force gone forward as was the talk 10 years ago then this would have made sense but the facility is not needed.
I would rather see the government have only spent 6 million to cancel instead of wasting 145 million.
