I did an Asura quest last night that had some Veteran Harpy with a ranged flame attack that hit for around 900 of my 1200 life. To me, that's excessive, a mob that snares and then hits for 470 when you have ~1400 is excessive to me as well.

Right off the bat i toss a healing well and then right after i toss a toughness signet so he can handle the mob for a bit. Snares are another story.

I have tried the 306.02 drivers and to be honest I went from 70-80 frames down to 45. I was not a fan in the slightest. Hopefully there is some differences in the beta vs release drivers or I will be staying on the 304.79 and the 305.53's both give me great performance in GW2.
I noticed turning off Ambient occlusion in the Nvidia settings gave me an extra 10 frames. Right now I run (on my laptop at best) everything high except shadows and reflections and see 70+ in pve and 55+ in pvp. No vertical sync on.
