It's not apples and oranges though, Sierra Morena Blvd handles more than 20K cars per day because of people cutting through the neighborhood and it gets just as crazy and backed up on snow/ice days on that road as well. Sure people could go through 17th->Sarcee, or Glenmore->Sarcee, but it's a lot more convenient and quicker to cut through.
I can appreciate being angry at others cutting through your community, but it's a tough position to argue when you do the exact same thing in order to save time.
