I always thought it was just special effects, but Peter Weller gave an interview and something he Saud suggested that it was a real gun, with just some cosmetic work done to it to make it look cooler in the movie.
This is one thing I would love to see Sons of Guns do a project on. Just something so neat about how that fires. Would the Beretta 93R actually fire in similar bursts like that?
