I had another look at the jersey and the lettering and the numbering most definitely looks and feels like felt and it does look like more of a cream than in the pictures. I'll try to update with better pictures.
And flameswin, do you believe I've under priced it? I only chose that price because I saw few on kijiji that had fight straps and the whole deal priced at around 120, decided to knock $50 off of that.

No, if it's real that's a hell of a price for an Iginla Heritage classic jersey, and someone should jump right on that.
