Everything 3 Justin 3 has said I echo. I enjoy playing GM mode in NHL12; firstly because I don't mind playing against the CPU, and secondly because I enjoy not only watching the progression of my team but playing through it too.
I think I stated it earlier, but All-Star with slider used to adjust (likely towards the 'harder') seems fair.
