Which, incidentally, has created the ironic situation where EVERYBODY is unhappy with the current political landscape. Hardcore leftists hate the Conservatives. Righties hate the idea of the NDP becoming the "government in waiting" and the 13 or so people still in the Liberal camp hate the fact that they have really gone from being the "national governing party" to standing on the verge of becoming a historical footnote.
I don't know what the future holds for the Liberal Party but I still am of the opinion that in the long term there is a moderate political centre that isn't represented by either the NDP or the CPC. That won't be the case forever.
