Like Diemenz said, if the difficulty is too low and human players are winning a high majority of CPU games, then I will lose interest fast.

Look at it this way. Let's say my sim team is playing FlyingDonuts' team, who claims he can score 5 goals against the All-Star CPU difficulty in a single period. I know from the start that I'm screwed regardless of how well I have GM'd my team, which is the entire point of this mode.
Never thought of that, and that's a valid point.

Decent player here but not great. Can blow out the CPU regularly on All-Star but probably only win a third of the time on Superstar.

If every human player wins against the CPU all the time, then the entire season will hinge on the human vs human games - something that's unfair as my team will lose in that scenario all the time to posters like Flying Donuts (if that poster is as good as he claims).

It's then no longer about who has assembled the best team, but who has the quickest thumbs.

Perhaps it would be best to have one league strictly for simming and one for playing/CPU/simming/whatever people want.
