With the exception of 2 guys, I disagree with nearly all of my friends on every social and political issue you could possibly debate. I disagree with my wife on social and political issues.
Luckily, there is more to life and a person's complete character than their views on a few sensitive topics.
I'm surprised anyone here with parents in their 60's or older don't hate their own fathers.
Don't feel guilty about liking someone for their admirable qualities just because they aren't your complete version of a perfect human being on every subject.
