We will have to disagree then. When I was 4 years old I was attacked by a dog; I think the breed was a great dane but my memory isn't that great. The injuries were so bad I was hospitalized. At a young age like that, I've had a phobia towards dogs and feared them ever since. Not too long ago, the family friends I mentioned in my last post moved closer to us, and we visited their house often. Eventually I became friends and actually started to like their pet, which was a pitbull. Also, I currently have neighbours that own a great dane, the same breed that attacked me.
I used to be so scared of dogs and detest them but I can see it's not their fault. The owner usually reflects on the attitude of the dog, and the one that attacked me did indeed have a crappy owner. I just don't like this thread particularily since it makes dogs look like such bad creatures. I myself was a victim of a dog attack, and here I am defending them.
