The Heat season and home opener is on October 12th against the Peoria Rivermen.
The first rematch against Toronto is on November 1st at home. I'm really looking forward to this game.
I find it kind of weird that the Heat only play four games at home during the whole month of March. That's going to be tough on the players and coaches. Basically the whole month of March on the road during the toughest part of the year where everyone is trying make their playoff push.
*EDIT* Also, there's going to be a tough nearly two week road trip starting in the east coast and ending in Texas from March 5th to March 17th.

Call me crazy but I think an east coast road trip might be easier than something like a home and home with the Texas Stars. Hopefully it has led to longer homestands in general and if so it could very well help with injuries.
