looked okay to me, you guys are just looking for waaaay too much. How can you really tell the gameplay by watching a video?

the good play was separating the man from the puck with the hit. thats really the only play there ever has been in ea games because poke check and stick lift are often ineffective. (though they claim to have once again improved that) my point is that the defensive player got in the right spot and laid the body on the guy, but because the logic of the game continues to be totally flawed and unrealistic, the offensive player just pretends it never happened and scores a goal.
for all of you saying its too early to judge, how do you figure? the video is over 8 minutes long. thats a couple of periods for most people that play on the shorter time lengths. and probably everyone here has played hundreds of hours of nhl games over the years and know what we are looking at. its not that hard to judge whether the ai in the gameplay is the same as what we have seen for several years on this gen of consoles or is something different. in 8 minutes i can make a pretty good assessment if what i see is exactly the same as i have been seeing for the last 4 years.
and it doesnt matter if it was 2 humans playing or if they were poor players. (which i do agree they were) because even with 2 humans playing the ai still controls 10 of the 12 players on the ice at a time. thats a pretty good gauge of what the ai will be doing in the game.
and besides if people complain when the demo or game comes out it always reduces to "you just suck" or "your sliders are wrong" or whatever else lame excuse people make. i genuinely have no idea how to glitch or cheese. i never have. i have no desire. i legitimately like to play realistic hockey. i just wish once ea would actually move more towards that. with all their promises this summer, i thought maybe they had. after seeing those 8 minutes of play, i think they were just blowing smoke as usual...
