So wait, the LGBT using their free speech isn't cool to (rightfully) point out that the FRC is a detrimental organization, and yet Tim Thomas and Dan Cathy using their free speech to dehumanize and support restricting the rights of a significant portion of the population is? Christian is a polite synonym for 'hypocrite', I see.
FRC is a group that supports bigotry and the limiting of human rights and free speech. They're as near to a hate group as you can get without active participation in violence, and the only reason it's taboo to say it publicly is because they claim it is part of their religious beliefs.

Dan Cathy used his free speech in support of the tradition family. Marriage is not a right in the USA. Right now in all but, a few States it is a licience issued to heterosexual couples only.
Nothing is being taken away from gays. Rather the LGBT community is demanding something they have never had. Apparently at least one is willing to kill to silence the opposition.
