First of all, you didnt consider that I didnt have a choice? There are no 'sales' in hockey, so I compared it another way.
Secondly, Wenger's options are unknown and so I didnt comment on them, but I'm certain lots of teams were interested in Van Persie's services.
Finally, note, and I was very specific; 'no
competitive return.' If he buys something with that money then that will be a different story, so far he hasnt, so as far as on-field personnel are concerned United have improved and Arsenal have regressed.
