As for Arsenal, they are patently window-licking ######ed for selling him to United. From my perspective Wenger is a straight-up moron for doing this.
First of all, this makes United better and Arsenal worse right away and these two teams are likely competing neck and neck for everything. What if they meet in the Champions' League and its an RvP goal that knocks Arsenal out? Wil the money have been worth that?
They're competing for (arguably) the league, top 4 spots and the CL, they could conceivably meet in the FA and Carling cups and Champions' League.
It would be like Calgary trading Iginla to Vancouver for nothing and having him light us up 6 times a year keeping the Flames out of the playoffs.

I agree that it's a risk for United and I agree that it's stupid from Wenger, but could we please not use a "it would be like"-example where Vancouver is United? That hurts
