Legally in the US you have to be 21 to purchase a Pistol, 18 to buy a rifle or shotgun
you also have to be 21 to purchase pistol ammo and 18 to but long gun ammo
I find it weird that we have 18 year old kids that are handed a full auto rifle and told to hunt down Saddam but they cant have a beer stateside.
We need a better education system, I'm a firm believer that education is the most important thing to a country followed by security and health care. Education would help with a lot of this crap but we are as a country blind and numb to things like this thanks to violent things becoming mainstream like gangsta rap and idolizing Tupac and Biggie.
It's amazing that more violent crap has happened since wars have been able to be shown on the nightly news (vietnam) and the generations after are numb to death, hell I grew up watching German and American soldiers walking around airports with full auto rifles and constant crap from the soviets invading and then watching the first gulf war on tv as a young child.
