A rural peace officer who was badly beaten and dropped off at a Calgary police station has died of his injuries.
The officer who worked in the MD of Foothills turned up at the District 8 office on Friday morning in grave condition and was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition.
He was pronounced dead on arrival.
