I wouldn't care if he was a canuck prospect, the kid may have made a mistake, no need to cry over spilled milk. There are other ways to punish him in the criminal justice system. Other than slapping him with a criminal record. Didn't bertuzzi just have to pay a fine after the moore incident in place of a conviction?

I highly doubt if this was a Canucks Oilers or Jets prospect people have such bleeding hearts. Im a teacher and work with at risk kids from absolute terrible family lives and I fully believe in giving people breaks if it is warranted. I also see what happens when people are allowed to get off or not held responsible for their actions. Regardless of his profession or upbringing he should be treated like anyone else.
