Driving is 16, and as for the others, those ages are different in different jurisdictions. Why is it that an 18 yr old in BC cannot drink, but they can in AB? Or how about a 20 yr old who can gamble in MB, but not in the States? Why can you vote, but not drink in much of the states?

Or how about the marriageable age? In Canada, it's 18, or 16 with parental consent, or 14 with Judicial consent.

Face it, age of consent is a difficult topic, even if it doesn't involve sex. The age has changed frequently, and will change again.
