That chekovs gun thing was a good read.
Surprised that the teddy bear that fell from the plane wasn't mentioned. First, the shots of it floating in the water, focused on the bear's one good eye. Then it floating into the filter, Walt finding it in the pool filter, then the Mexican twins waiting for him to come out of the shower and it sitting on the bed with them, Walt finding it when he gets out of the shower and putting it in his pocket, then moving out and finding it under the bed in his apartment, and we seem to have seen the last of it.
Plus the parallels of the bear, half face scorched , floating in the pool, for-shadowing the future of mr. fring?
Here are some thoughts from the fast forward to open this season (Walt at Dennys, M-60)
- a year later, his 52nd birthday alone, tells waitress drove in from New Hampshire for business.
- Is Walt on the run? wouldn't he change his identity and birthday (showed ID to waitress)? He was called Mr. Lambert, it could be he uprooted the family to New Hampshire to appease family, took Skylers maiden name, (Mr. Lambert), is he laying low? or something went down and is back to take care of business (i would assume he was doing some business from afar or told to retire by mike/jesse). If Walt was 'on the run' I would assume Saul could get him a better identity that couldn't be traced so easily (same b-day/skylers maiden name)
all in all an incredible show , giving viewers much to think about, i find myself re watching episodes and finding little nuances each time!
