What an absurd statement. Is he a superstar? No, but he has been WAY better than just good.
Never mind all the other parts of his game, once he is finished playing he will easily be in the top 100 players of all time in points since that is some kind of barometer for you. Thats over nearly a century of NHL hockey as well.
Is he as good as he once was? No. Is he worth 7 million? probably not, though his intangibles on the right team (not the Flames I agree) may be enough to put them over the top.
ANYONE who logs well over a 1000 games at the NHL level is more than a good player, and its ridiculous to suggest otherwise.
