Most places (including the Guardian today) have said the Sahin move only happens if Song is sold
in which case it's a downgrade
Sahin is a great player, Song for some strange reason (and I don't even like to say this) is one of the most underrated players in Europe and as a holding midfielder in the top handful
Madrid aren't going to let him go without a guarantee of playing time though and with Song/Arteta and potentially Wilshere later in the year he wouldn't be guaranteed a spot.
So I only thing it happens in the insane situation where they sell Song
