But the reality is, that post simply shows the words of a homophobic person. It's the same way we all read T&T's hateful words about gays, and he later revealed that it was all because of one incidint.
You can tell by the way they articulate their posts, that an incident in their life has caused them to become homophobes, and as society changes and progresses, they likely won't.
It's too bad that they'll be left behind and viewed as bigots, where as they probably believe they are decent, kind human beings, but that's teh way she goes.

Welcome to the world of every woman, Badger Bob. Do you know how many women deal with unwanted sexual advances from men? But when it's your friend he was victimized, when it's a woman, she "was asking for it" based on what she was wearing, or that she willingly was in a car alone with a man, etc.
What Tony did was wrong, absolutely, but plenty of straight guys have done the exact same thing to women. It doesn't make all straight men evil. Just like one incident with Tony didn't make all gay men evil. You can't take it out on a group of millions and millions of people simply because one person acted improperly.
None of what happened to your friend means that the gay community as a whole should be denied equal rights. Lots of men sexually harass and assault women, on a regular basis, but that doesn't mean that men as a whole should have to be punished for that.
Again, this is a "bad" story of a gay man doing something stupid and assaulting a straight man. But regularly, bigoted idiots will physically harm gay men and women, far more often than incidents like this. They are victimized, pretty often, and refusing to give them basic rights which they deserve adds insult to injury.
