So does that mean we shouldn't be critical of the Flames for the same reason? I realize NHL players are professional athletes, and are paid millions, but do they owe no obligation your average couch coach?

And how about actual professional athletes playing in the games? Should the American's not get angry if their men's basketball team does not win the gold, or the same with our hockey team? Where does one draw the line on who they should be angry with, and who should get a pass?

Some people are definitely over critical, and come into the games with their expectations set too high, no question about it. However, I have no issue with people being critical if Canada does not come close to reaching their expected medal totals.
