You think that's bad Universal Ford is way worse. I ordered a new car from them last year. Waited three long months for the car and during that time calling periodically for updates as the salesman knew I sold my other car and was down one in my fleet and the sooner I got my hands on this car the better. Well after getting no updates from Universal I called Ford Customer Service with the vehicle VIN and low and behold they told me Universal took delivery of the car four days ago. I called the dealer and my salesman gave me a BS story that he had food poisining and wasn't in the office and I could pick up the car the next day. When I pick the car up I do the walk around and everything looks good and I notice the odometer screen is blacked out so I turn on the odometer and there's 125 kms on a car that was delivered straight from Ford to the dealer. We have bought a lot of new cars in the past and most of them came in the range of 12 - 34 kms on the odometer. My car was the first 2012 and it appears my salesman took the liberty of driving my new car for a few days while knowing that I wanted to get my hands on it the moment it came in. I'm not sure about everyone else but I'm not a big fan of the idea of a salesman breaking in my $47k car for me. The dealer's way of appologizing was to offer me my first oil change for free. Why would I ever take my car back to a dealer that employs lying scumbags? It's a shame dealers are so shortsighted and never look further than a sale at a time as I would have likely purchased another car from them but now they are dead to me just like Honda West and Sunridge Mazda.
