OK, so here is a brief summary of my Olympic experience so far.

This is the view I had for the men's road race with the police cars coming down the road just before the peloton:

This is the view of the riders as they went by:

This is what the Maple Leaf pub looked like the other night. I had a good time and got quite drunk.

This is the view from my seat for weightlifting. When I got the tickets I wasn't sure what i would think of the event, but it ended up being very enjoyable and a sport that i will try and follow and definitely watch in future olympics. Lots of drama and a very good spectator sport.

This is the view of Wembley walking up from Wembley Park tube station:

This is the view from my 'box seat' at half time (notice the turf control people):

The game was great, especially for a nil-nil draw. For the first bit Korea was happy to let Gabon control the ball and counter attack. Bothe teams had many chances but couldn't convert. There were lots of Korean supporters and some English and Aussies with Gabon flags. Overall it was a good experience as I don't know if i will ever be able to afford to go to another game at Wembley, but they (stadium workers) were very disorganized, the tickets didn't match up with the stadium's actual seating and the ushers were unhelpful. I think most people sitting around me were upset, but I just took it for what it was.

Hope you enjoy the photos, sorry the quality is poor. I am looking forward to ditching the crappy iPhone knock-off. Will try and get some good shots tomorrow from the beach volleyball.
