There are 100's of new models out there, cars, suv's and crossovers. There may even be a mini van or two.

I would check out the Imprezza's, Lancer's or the Matrix's. The wife has a Vibe which is a Matrix in a GM wrap and loves it. It's a 2003 with 170k on it and we have had very little problems with it. The Matrix/ Vibe was a partnership deal with Toyota and GM. The drivetrain is a Toyota Corolla and the body was done by GM. Wasn't sure if they were still making them with Pontiac going T/U, but I see they still are.
