Canada women doubles team advanced to the playoff round because of the disqualifications. The played Australia (who also advanced because of the disqualifications) in the quarterfinals and won! Now they play the Japanese in the semi-finals. The odds of winning a medal is probably 1 in a 100, but if they did, it would be like Miracle on Ice x 100
