That badminton thing is a joke. I'm glad they kicked them all out.

There is a difference between saving your best for the finals like in track, swimming, or team sports where you sit your best players, and intentionally trying to throw games to manipulate the seeding. If you want to pull up a bit against weak competition so you can save your best for last and put up your best performance against the strongest competition at the end, that's great, that's what strategy in sports is about. Thowing matches becasue you don't want to have to play your friends is a disgrace.
