skating - most communities have a skating rink come winter.
tanning - access to outdoors is all that is required, not a 'lake'
girl watching - girls are everywhere. don't need a lake to do that.
fishing - i'll take the bow river over a small dirty lake.
boating - seriously? you don't boat on arbour lake, you simply float around.
the lake is about twice the size of the rona at crowfoot for pete's sake. i've seen larger puddles in parking lots. if your opinion is that it sets arbour lake above the rest, i humbly disagree.
