Blue, this morning on way from McKnight 24 hr Vet to surgeon's offices.

Note from ABR president:

Blue Update~ Blue managed to get an appointment with an orthopaedic surgeon this morning and even made it to his appointment on time thanks to ABR volunteer Cory (Thanks!) The ortho was quite concerned with what the x-rays were showing... what was originally diagnosed as a straight fracture looked much more like a Y break... this means, more pins, screws, longer recovery and a more expensive surgery. Poor little Blue! We made the decision to take more xray while he was sedated and do whichever surgery was needed ABR is waiting to hear back from the vet once they're done their after surgery evaluation... we will keep you posted!
