I say play all the bowls and take the best two teams and play them after the bowls.
in ten years this will go to a 10 team playoff and basically ruin college football. I will quit watching it after that.

No its not, and the reality is that its impossible to have a level playing field. The reality is that there are too many different teams with such a massive range in SOS, and so little games that can be played it will never be totally fair and no matter what you do, there will always be 'ya, but' arguments no matter the system.
The only difference being, which I have said for years, the larger the playoff system the more irrelevant the regular season is. Just play the bowls and enjoy them, if they want to dream up a 1 vs 2 fine, but anything more starts to tait the system that has made college football great.
