I have no ill will toward Canadians or Canada. I see a LOT of ill will spewed around here toward Americans and the USA in general. I don't understand where it comes from.

I just feel bad for America. My mom has lived down there for 12 years, I love going to visit her but to have a country that has had the same reoccurring problem (gun violence) for so many years and do absolutely nothing about it is the very definition of insanity. If anyone ever wants to get rid of guns there is always a flimsy reason (in my opinion) that is put forward to keep the access the exact same as it has always been. It is tougher to get fireworks in the States than it is to get a handgun. You cannot take a snow globe on an airplane yet you can pretty much grab a gun whenever and wherever you want.
