Since December, I had 2 defects with the Corsair RAM. (Stuck bit couple months ago and I got it replaced under warranty and it happened again)

I'm getting annoyed with the RAM corrupting my files on my system and having to do a fresh install again.

Does anyone have any recommendations on which brand is reliable? I'm leaning towards Crucial or G.Skill at the moment.
Bad RAM is almost vanishingly rare these days and I can't imagine the odds of getting two bad DIMMs in a row.

Were the RAM failures both in the same DIMM slot? If you swapped the DIMMS, would the error occur yet again in the same DIMM slot?

I wonder if it will turn out that you've got a flaky memory controller or other logic board part that is causing RAM related failures.
